We went for the light show and it was definitely worth the price! Such a beautiful display and the gardens are gorgeous on their own. Only complaint is there are not enough signs showing areas that are NOT accessible. More signage would be helpful .

The indoors guarden cost $6 and the outdoors is free but I suggest seeing both or donating to help keep it free. They have a shuttle tour every half hour (I did not ride)) there are plenty of places to sit and relax, amazing selection of flowers and trees. Chipmunk, cotton tail rabbits, frogs and birds from finch, sparrows, black birds and robins.((Have a sign about wild Turkey didn't see any)) I spent 2.5hrs just walking and relaxing most paths would be easy to maneuver with wheel chair or scooter. ((And if you play Pokeymon Go there are a bunch of stops))

What a gem. We entered and immediately paid for entry to the indoor gardens. We loved it and spent a lot of time looking at all the exotic plants from all over the world. The quail are fun to watch, as are the birds inside. I love that they are free to fly and roam around. Then we went outside, and I was more impressed by the outdoor gardens than I expected! Every turn was filled with discoveries, statues, art work, and amazing plants and trees. The Thai Pavillion is gorgeous in the evening and we loved learning about the dark water (for reflection). The interns working during the day were very open and eager to answer our questions. These gardens are superbly well presented in themed areas. Worth visiting (we went two days in a row!) The outdoor gardens are free, and I highly recommend spending at least an hour and a half outside...there's so much to see! Definitely take a map from the center so you don't miss any of the gardens.

I'm not sure that the $6 cost for the fairly small/quick (but very lovely) conservatory is necessarily worth it. (Although again, very lovely, and $6 is not all that much... It just doesn't take much time at all to see in its entirety.) However, the (free) outdoor garden is absolutely a must visit! Jam-packed with beauty and variety, and especially gorgeous on a sunny day when the light can highlight the flowers, leaves, water, and buildings/sculptures, etc. in the best possible way, a walk through the garden was truly just absolutely gorgeous around every turn! I also picked up a few very cool/cute souvenirs at the gift shop for fairly reasonable prices, so that was a nice bonus as well. Definite 5 star place to visit and highly recommended!

We loved our stop here! We've traveled all 50 states and seen a fair share of botanical gardens and this is one of my favorites. The outdoor gardens are free and our time was limited so the friendly woman staffing the desk recommended we just explore outside. We were not disappointed. What makes this garden unique is that it rambles a bit. There are so many little side paths you can take and each one feels magical. The pagoda was stunning. The indoor children's education area was so fun. Our 4 year old loved the children's garden. And the kaleidoscope at the end was such a cool find. We will definitely stop in again if we're ever in the area!
